You fought your fighting game mug?

This must be the work of Shao Kahn.

It sucks to lose that kind of item. You have my sympathies.

I'm confident that I could explain the most possible course of events in great detail, but in short: It was unavoidable. There is 'nothing' a person living a normal life could have done about it.

Depending on your budget you can...
...be grateful for the time you've spend with it and bury it in a park or your garden.
...look for a replacement on internet auction sites.
...or consider kintsugi. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kintsugi ) It might not be cheap, but think about what an awesome talking point it would make... "Yeah, I had that fixed by somebody with an ancient Japanese technique..." ;)

I hope that helped a little.

Oh no! Fortunately seems possible to glue that back on, though indeed structural integrity or surfacial perfection will probably never be the same again... that's a cool mug.

oh shit oh sh- OH NO MOTHER FUCKING SHI-

I'm a little late to this post, but epoxy works pretty well for these kind of breaks. You'll always feel a little crack, but I think it adds character.
